| 1 | Have you got OpenID?
|
If you've not got an OpenID account, then create one. Yahoo and Google accounts are OpenID ready, so if you use yahoo mail or google mail, the chances are you already have one. They're fee, secure and make lots of sites much easier to use. Once you've got one, come back! |

| 2 | Sign Up
|
Click log-in on the top black bar of the site. |

Select your OpenID account - you can choose from Google, Yahoo or a vanilla OpenID. |

| 4 | Tell us about you!
|
Give us a screen name and enter whatever other details you'd like to share. |

| 5 | Create your first pattern
|
Click "Share" in the top right of the site. |
|
| 6 | Create a title and description
|
Enter a name for your pattern, and a description. If you like you can also add Tags - these are key words that help other people find your pattern. |

| 7 | Create your task list
|
For each step in your process, enter a title, what it effects and who does the task, along with a short description. Click "add" and keep adding until you're done! |

| 8 | All done!
|
Once your list is complete, click "Submit" and you've just published your first pattern! If you need to edit it, just click "edit" and make the changes. |
